Last Saturday, I join Amstrong and Robin to shoot Macro at Butterfly Park, Lake Garden. The time is a bit off, which is 3pm... On that Saturday I left my day free to meet some old friends that came back from overseas. Unfortunately all of them already got their day filled with plans.. therefore I was left at home watching TV..

It's been many years since I have a Macro Outing.. close to 2 years or more.. I just acquire a Zuiko Digital 50mm F2.0 Macro lens few months back and this will be a good opportunity to do Macro with this superb lens...

At the same time, I can try CLS with Macro as well.. with one hand holding the camera, and another hand holding the flash.. the photo above was shot with CLS... but with the flash placing on the ground...

Im really interested in shooting Water Droplets as well.. I find it very facinating when I first saw it few months back... I got my opportunity to try to shoot during the outing and Im stunt.. together with natural light...

Because the ZD 50mm is a 2:1 macro lens, unlike ZD 35mm which is a 1:1 macro lens, i cannot go too close to snap... I need a EX-25 extension tube to make it 1:1.. However Im able to learn to frame the subject..

The 2:1 has cause me problems in snapping this photo.. took bout 5 minutes and lots of clicks before I achieve this...

The beauty of CLS allows me to compose and create photos which are non-conventional.. something different from just plugging the flash onto the camera.. because of the commander is build into Olympus in-body flash, Im able to move more freely..and place my camera around..

This photo is with CLS effect.. I can create a similar photo like how Fahrur did... wahahahaha..
