Here is the scenario..
Printer Xerox C525 Network ready printer
OS is Win XP.
ZoneAlarm Firewall on PC
PC is connected to the Broadband using WiFi. Hence Printer and File sharing is disabled
Printer is network to a home/ internal network using IP and Wired Network over a 10/100 Switch.
Problem..How to get the PC won't detect the Printer. But Printer is working and connected. Other PC not having any internet connections can print to the printer and can detect the printer. What did I set wrong? Or What did I not get right?.

How is your printer networked?
Is it network ready or are you using a router with printer port or are you using your PC as a printer server?
drsec

Sorry did not see, - network ready.
In that case, I assume you are using dynamic IP.
XP print driver will never detect the printer. You ahve to create a printer port and name the IP.

2 separate network..the Internet Router is not connected to the Printer. The Printer uses an independent HUB which is connected to PCs that are not connected to the internet or the internet router.
I am now trying to connect the T40 printer while connected to the internet using the WiFi.

Blu,
Is your wired LAN and wireless LAN sharing the same IP segment?
Can you view the other PC around you ie network neighbourhood?
Do you have LAN connection around you?

this one you need to create an IP tunnel for the specific usage... hmmm... local VPN?.. ahahahhaah

You need to daisy chain the router and the hub. Use one of the ports of the router and connect it to one of the ports of the hub. Dont connect the printer to the hub cos it needs to be addressable.
I have the same arrangement in my house b'cos the router dont have enough port.

No..cannot view..What do you mean by segment?
I set the 192.168.0.1~100 for my wireless
while the Network is 10.0.0.1~500. Both are the same 255.255.255.0

For printers you've got to make sure that the IP are "fixed" and there is no conflict. Thus set the IP start addresses so that the IP assignments dont conflict.

I have this same printer.
First, RTFM and set the IP address for the printer (I assume you know what IP network to use, if not check back again). Assuming that your office/home network all use the 192.168.1.XXX network, you can just set the IP to 192.168.1.50 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0 and gateway 192.168.1.1 (not sure if you need to set gateway, hence RTFM)
When you configure your PC printer driver:
1) The CD that comes with the printer installs a whole bunch of stuff other that the drivers. I don't like that as cumulatively all these nonsense slows down the PC. So I just go to the website (http://fxprinters.com.sg iirc) and download the drivers (which doesn't have all the unnecessary shit) from there. Of course, you can just chicken out and install from the CD :)
2) What drsec said is right. By default, the printer driver is setup to communicate to the parallel port. You need to go to "Printers", right click on the said printer and click on Properties. Go to the tab "Ports". Add a new port and select "Std TCP/IP Port". The wizard will ask you a few questions. Set the IP address of the printer that you configured above. A few clicks after and you're all set.
Tip: by default the printer is set to print color. Save some money and set it to B&W by default and to print 2 on 1 (unless long-sightedness is already setting in :p)

ok..I have saved that to read and try at home..Only thing, I am already using the 192.168.0.0~50 for my wireless..and 10.0.0.1~100 for the internal network.
Is there any difference of should I reset my home router to the 10.0.0.1~100 and the HUB to the 192.168.0.0~50?

I did read that lousy printed stuff they call MANUAL..totally hopeless.
I got all the other single network installed PCs to print except the Duel network to work. There is nothing in the FM that tells you what to do in that scenario.
So I connected it using the USB..that was fine until I send large colored pictures there...I get a 1 inch garbage printed at the bottom. A tech cam in says error with the USB cable..So I BOUGHT a new USB cable and same error...He says the problem is USB is too FAST!!!! So use network..I send a similar file from another PC connected using the network and it's fine..
So Now How do I get that STUPID printer to connect to my to my Internet connected PC?

The simplest method AFAIK is relocate the printer to your notebook, install and let it reside there. The plug in the LAN to the printer and your print via USB, while the rest LAN.

Does the wireless router have RJ45 ports?

The thing is, if the internal hub is really a hub, then you shouldn't be residing on separate networks at all. Hubs are nothing but repeaters with a few ports extending out of 'em. They're used for you to extend your network from your main router without having to create a separate network.
So, in essence, all your network nodes should be on the same network and your hub should have an uplink to your router.
Sucks if your router doesn't have an ethernet port though. Like shivan said, check if it does have one. If it does, just create an uplink from the hub to the router and voila! Everybody gets equal access.

Thanks all..1st problem solved..Now different problem..
Here is the layout..Similar to the home setup that I have but this time the PCs that are not connected to the internet needs to share their printer.
So how do I solve this problem?
Problematic PC (PC1) is WinXp while the PC with the Printer (PC2) is Win98.

XP limits the number of ppl sharing if not mistaken.. switch the printer to the 98 machine is much easier

PC98 1 to 5 (5 PCs) are part of an internal Wired network 8port hub but without internet connections. Between them they share 3 printers and 1 back up HDD. The internal network do not have any firewall or antivirus installed.
PCXp is connected to the internet using a wireless router. PCXp have an antivirus and zonealarm firewall enabled.
What's required now is that PCXp to connect into the internal network using the internal built in RJ45 networkcard hardwiring into the HUB. This is to enable the sharing of Printers and files.
Should I disable the internet TCP/IP and use NetBIOS and IPX/SPX over the whole internal network?

PC2=Win98 ? and connected to Printer? RJ45?
PC1=WinXP? Wifi?
PC2 delete the network card or TCP/IP. Refresh everything then let window cari balek the settings... If kenot after restart, put back the IP address... with the correct Network Card ID.
Give sharing printer or folders on the Win98 PC.
Then, restart...
Try 1st.

1) wireless-LAN
2) LAN
since it different gateway ( 192. and 10.)
either one have to disable to join the intranet.
