I came across this dilemma.... of course some of the 'famous' ones; posting & personal message dilemma.


At one of 'these' sites... I have collected quite some posting stats... so suddenly yesterday I saw the stats decreases till only 1 count and I cannot sent/read personal messages. (before 126 posts... now only 1)

The admins sure have some tuff times in segregating users that posted in only one section of the threads; the WTB/WTS threads - then pruning them.

Actually, its not a dilemma for me cause I don't care-less of their actions but it seems that they're quite brutal on 'popularity' or which threads that you join....

..... I read in the rules (new rules) it says that number of messages depend the commitment in 'photography' based thread and not in the WTB/WTS threads.....

Whatdayathink about this?

We shouldn't be a biased forum. We welcome all with open arms, even though they are here to just offload their gears. But you'd never know if the members here can get good bargains, right? ;)

Well we do have members whom register to offload their gear. My vote goes to allow them as doing them and our member a favour.. if the price is right, i'm sure a lot of ppl would wanna help them.

You want a posting size rule? I think that shouldn't be a problem. Lakua, can add max picture size posting as 800 pixels on the long side ah?

well..... actually a 800px x 600px will be ok....

about the 11th or 12th post of mine....?...... doesn't matters laaa... here no rulez..... only oly rules...... (actually mine is 2.8k+)

'they've' have deleted my post over 'there'.... and they only say must contribute some stuff on photography.....

Actually make good sense. Makes loading faster and only click/expand which image I want to see. :sifone:

Actually, what I hate about this particular the photo site (not this site it is the other site)is..... they change the rule. I have sent them an email regarding this and they will face reports made to MCMC under cyber fraud clause.
