welcome dude. the 14-42 is a great piece of lens. got ED some more. none of the lenses i have now got ED.

hehe.. even leitz glass don't have ED.. so does my 14-54 and 11-22.. :D

ED is only useful for long lenses to reduce wavelength shift due to the number of telephoto glass required... the 14-54 and 11-22 don't need it.. and as can be seen by the quality of the ASPH glass... ASPH is excellent at bending light, and is a necessity for short length lenses to reduce the number of glass used... and ASPH close focuses too...
