agree.. nice! but its a bit sayang that only the front/nearest petals are in focus. i'd like see the whole flower in focus. it's just hard to see that focus point, which is in the shadows, while the rest are in midtones/highlights. but that's just me.

Nice composition but seems to be a bit underexposed. And the DOF is a bit too shallow.

I was wondering about the focus too, but if it was intentionally done, I appreciate the artistic input on it too. It kinda looks like a water color painting with a touch of softness.

Maybe i didn't notice the aperture i'm using since i was on the way showing my friends to some place, not good to let them wait too long, while the reason when the flower shot was at the side is because i actually wanted the clear blue sky to be the background. But i'll try to observe better next time, thanks for the comment :)

I was using the Aperture Priority setting with no compensation, I think its a little under exposed too, since i'm in short of time and i guess the screen in E-510 was a little small n was exposed to strong sunlight, i didn't noticed it. Thanks for the comment :)

Now i came to realize that my "unconscious" mind was owez looking for soft focused pictures, i realize that some other flower pics i have oso soft like that. May be a flaw of me, I'll improve from that, Thanks for the comment :)
